Crowdfunding Details
Campaign Updates
We extended this campaign to 60 days and adjusted to a more realistic “internal” 10k€ minimum target. While our original 45k€ was for the full ambitious vision, we can create an amazing game eventually with a minimum of 10k€ by scaling smartly. We’ll focus on core gameplay and find alternative funding for additional content.
Why the change? We launched without proper pre-campaign marketing (rookie mistake!) and are now doing the outreach we should have done before launch. The response from everyone who’s discovered the game has been incredibly positive.
What 10k€ gets you:
A playable game, possibly for early access
At least 2 stages with somewhat scaled down environments
3 playable characters
This version will be a starting point that we eventually will expand to the full vision Hyper Rebellion deserves.
Full explanation in our latest update.
State of Development
The game is currently in a pre-Alpha stage – all the core gameplay and graphics systems are up and running, a roster of start enemies is in and we already did quite some optimization to make sure the game supports a ton of enemies without slowing down. Two stages of the game are already playable – now it’s all about adding the actual content: more assets, more enemy types, weapons, upgrades and environments to create a truly epic experience!
Following the success of our commercial debut ‘The Great Rebellion’, we are now creating Hyper Rebellion: Blood & Circuits, our most ambitious project yet—a gritty twin-stick cyberpunk horde shooter in isometric top down perspective with a look evoking classic Fallout or a cyberpunk version of Diablo 2.
