"An excellent engineering sim"
This game allows you to build some of the most complex spacecraft I’ve ever imagined and also has plane and car style vehicles you can build. The campaign helps start you off with more manageable tools early and allows you to specialize in certain craft as you go until you eventually unlock all possible parts (or you can play in free mode and go crazy.) The physics engine is incredibly robust and even the slightest size or shape adjustment could mean the difference between a successful and failed launch.
