"Pure Fun"
Brotato is simple, it’s a potato dropped onto a square; Brotato is a shopper, you can collect all the things; Brotato is a game, it shoots the (aliens?) for you.
Listen, part of the joy I have found in Indie games is the simple, no nonsense, straight up gameplay that they can offer. Brotato, with its 20 levels of more arcade-y action leveling harkens back to the flash games of old. It’s $5. It’s a potato that collects up to 6 weapons that auto-target the closest enemy. You get money every round to strengthen your build. It has tons of characters that drastically change the way you will approach the 20-level onslaught. Enough nuance to that different stats/weapon combos will test your gaming prowess.
Is it deep? No. Is it fun? HELL YES! What more could you ask for of your $5?
