This game allows you to build some of the most complex spacecraft I've ever imagined and also has plane and car style vehicles you can build. The campaign helps start you off with more manageable tools early and allows you to specialize… in certain craft as you go until you eventually unlock all possible parts (or you can play in free mode and go crazy.) The physics engine is incredibly robust and even the slightest size or shape adjustment could mean the difference between a successful and failed launch.
Very much reminds me of Stardew Valley with more magic, and more pink. You can breed your animals to unlock cute, rare colours. And you can raise capybara's ❤️ It is still in development, last time I played the last 20 levels… of the mines weren't active and the final NPC didn't exist yet (Oct 2025). I play with a controller and the button mapping is a bit crummy to be brutally honest. It is fully customisable but there is one more action to perform (once you unlock all actions) than there are buttons on the controller. But overall, I love it. I'm waiting for the final update to release before I play again.
It has good feeling mechanics (Like dodge, dash, double jump and a transformation to access places you've passed by before but couldn't enter) It's easy to know where to go and has nothing that feels unfair in term of cheap deaths. It… has good secrets and a way to find them easier later in the game and i don't remember anything that you can miss mid playthrough so it's up there in the metroidvanias i like.
I wish I'd have found this game years ago, it did planetary landings and seamless in galaxy transitions way before any other game series, in fact games like Star Wars Outlaws, and Star Citizen sill cant pull off today. All made by… a single devoted developer with some of the best customer service I've ever seen.
whishlist and wait for full because after beating it first time leaves you wanting more. gameplay is engaging and after few runs team builds are realy fun to experiment. definitly needs more biomes, amount and design of creatures are great. beated czarnobog(im… polish and write og name of this god) in 5th run and from there endgame slows down for me because getting new creatures is not enough for me do more runs yet i spend 12h in game. i will back for full release. weirdly as for game that doesnt look graphically exhausting for gpu it stutters some time on biomes. wouldnt say family friendly because its 1player and themes and gamepley its not <10y kid friendly
Eurotruck Simulator 2 is not a racing game, it is a driving game. Instead of racing around a track you start out working for other trucking companies earning money and XP that allows you to open up the map and unlock cargo… opportunities. Once you have enough money you can purchase your own truck and take cargo all over Europe. The game has depth. You can simply drive and listen to live radio from Europe or you can buy garages, trucks, hire drivers, and build a trucking empire. The map opens up as you make deliveries and discover new cities. A worthwhile experience.
As someone who's put countless hours into F-Zero GX, I can honestly say that XF is everything a spiritual successor should and needs to be. Gameplay feels super responsive, allowing for you to blaze around tight corners at crazy fast speed, and… speaking of. The sense of speed is just as good, if not better dare I say, than GX. F-Zero machines could never hit 2000Kp/h, even with advance tech and exploits. The soundtrack hits all the right notes as well. Tempxa and Tudd did a fantastic job and I often find myself listening to the tracks on YT when not playing (Flaming Sun is so good). And don't even get me started on how good Story Mode is, or how it has platforming/beat-em-up levels to play through, which also feels great to play and control. Game's still in EA but, don't let that stop you. All the Arcade mode stuff is ready to go, it's the Story Mode that still needs work done. If you're like me and you've been looking for a Anti-Grav racer that has that same rush that F-Zero GX is known for, then you have to check this one out. You won't regret it.
This is honestly the most fun I've ever had playing Asteroids. Never knew just how well the game would work as a roguelike. Makes me wish there were more people out here taking these old Arcade Classics and reimagining them. If you're… a big fan of the arcade classic/original then you're gonna love Nova Drift.
I am thankful there was a demo for this game. I got it on Steam for MacOS. The game looked good in its trailer, and I liked what I read in the description. However, very quickly during the game play became overwhelming… for me visually. There was a lot of bright colors and constant animation that it was difficult for me to tell who was near me and what I was actually doing with the various skills being used. I certainly like these top down Roguelike survival games. But after one play through, I knew it was not for me. I wanted to like it, but it's just to busy on the screen. It has positive reviews on Steam. So if that sort of animation style doesn't bother you, give the demo a try!
Pros - Gameplay is even better than Fire Emblem with how much variation there is. - Art is phenomenal in my opinion - Characters and their interactions are the best part of the story so far Not pro or con - Story… is a bit slow and easy to ignore. I like what is there but its easy to get lost in the gameplay Con - The music isn't bad but I don't think it adds to the game very well as I opted to put on my own. - Being a indie fire emblem like game their are parts where there is no voice acting which slows down the story
I haven't finished it, but this is cute and fun. A great cozy game for cat lovers and would be great for kids. There are a few little bugs, but nothing that takes away from the game play. I never got stuck… but there are a few little areas where the physics or walls don't quite work as you'd expect from the onscreen graphics. I'd give it an 8/10.
I haven't actually played, but I've watched the trailer and the looks super fun. I almost wish there was a AAA game where you were a cat living in a city - but this game seems like fun too! Definitely adding to… my list and will update the review when I do!
