Though I have not yet completed the game, its art direction and game play (action RPG) are very reminiscent of the Mother/Earthbound series. The story is interesting so far and I’ve enjoyed the aesthetics of the game immensely! If you’re looking for a game that feels simply yet very satisfying then I’d recommend giving this a go.
its like Gmod meets Mario kart and its amazing. it has full support for user made characters, karts, wheels and tracks. the game has a challenge mode, Time Trials and ghost races even user made tracks have full support for both local and world wide time trial records. the game is also still getting consistent support with duo racers like in Double Dash on the way
On mobile this game excellent. On the medium difficulty it was a very enjoyable experience on the first playthrough, and on the hardest difficulty it was quite a challenge. I would highly recommend giving it a shot as it was loads of fun and a run could be completed in only a small handful of hours.
In recent times, we've had a resurgence of Souls-like games, due to the popularity of Dark Souls and Elden Ring. While it's not my favourite genre, I do enjoy it, and hell, Elden Ring has become one of my all time favourite RPGs. But something was missing. It's been a while since I've played an Elder Scrolls game, and the trio of Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim being some of my personal favourites, I've definitely missed playing Scrolls games. Honestly, with how AAA companies are these days, I'm not sure if Elder Scrolls VI will deliver. I hope it does, but I have my doubts. So, we have a ton of Souls-likes, but not enough Scrolls-likes. Until now... Enter Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon. An RPG that is heavily inspired by the Elder Scrolls series in terms of gameplay, and it most definitely delivered. From start to finish, I enjoyed my time with the game indefinitely, with just a few minor hindrances. On top of feeling like a true successor to Skyrim, it also has a few Souls elements, like dodging, which is highly encouraged, especially early on, as some enemies and especially bosses deal a lot of damage. You also have bonfires to rest and level up at. The story, while nothing special, was still pretty good and knew when to take itself seriously. But even with how dramatic it can be, it also knows when to be lighthearted. I mean, for Arthur's sake, you have a goofy side quest that gives you a spell, which turns people into cheese! Sheogorath approved! Now, the game is not perfect. It's got its bugs, and it's definitely not the best looking modern game, though I couldn't care less about the graphics. I noticed, that when you talk to NPCs they're really quiet, but when they speak outside of dialogue options, they're back to being normal/loud. I'm not sure if that's a problem with the game, or if it's my system having trouble with modern games. Either way, the game never crashed! Something I definitely do not miss from Elder Scrolls games. Still not convinced? Here, let me list a few things, that I believe all gamers will appreciate: -No microtransactions. -No predatory Nintendo 80 dollar price tag. -No forced political messages, or gender ideologies. -No game-breaking bugs, that makes it look like an unfinished product (at least I didn't experience any). Tainted Grail is fun first, and that's how it should be for all games. This, alongside games like Clair Obscure, and just AA and indie games in general, are continuing to prove that AAA companies are out of touch with what the players actually want. Definitely a 10/10 from me. This is easily my favourite game of 2025, and I wish the developers nothing but success for all their future projects.
Darkwood is a grotesque survival horror game, that relies on terror and the fear of the unknown, instead of the usual jumpscares most are accustomed to, and I absolutely love it for it. Also, insert comment here about how Darkwood is the Dark Souls of horror games. And now for something negative. ♥♥♥♥ the banshees and everything they stand for. If there was an enemy I would remove from the game, it would be them. Overall it's still an amazing experience. 9/10 from me.
It could feel impossible for two genres that share essentially nothing in common to be blended together and create something special, right? This is exactly why we love Indies; be insane and try to do the impossible. You would think randomness in a puzzle game would exclude any sort of depth to the puzzles. You might also think that having no action in a Rogue-lite, with long, drawn-out, hour-long runs might make the game tedious. You might also believe that even with such things, there couldn't possibly be any story that binds it all together in any meaningful way. Somehow, some way the dev behind Blue Prince not only succeeded but also excelled in the craft and made something wholly of its own. It's not for the faint of heart. But for those of us that truly love delving into a world, uncovering the mysteries hidden within, I expect you'll see the same magic that I have here.
This is FPS perfection; one of the best shooting experiences I've had in a video game. The weapons arsenal is incredibly powerful and varied; the movement/mobility is insane; the soundtrack is good and fitting; the vehicle sections were handled perfectly; the level design and art look pretty good, despite being low poly; the game is fairly lengthy (close to 20 hours for me); the story was decent, and the dialogue was genuinely funny at times. This easily stands alongside other giants in the FPS genre of recent times, such as DOOM: Eternal and Dusk, and I can easily recommend it to any FPS fan... unless you're the kind of person who thinks Call of Duty is peak FPS... for whatever idiotic reason... My only complaint is the final fight against Syn. Not giving it a boss health bar, like all other bosses made it a bit confusing, as I thought I had to kill her infinitely spawning henchmen to proceed. Also, giving the boss insta-kill death lasers, in a fight where you're unable to quick save is generally ♥♥♥♥-ish. Thankfully, this doesn't take away from the rest of the game's enjoyment factor. Easy 10/10 from me. Go play this game. Now!

The game is really fun, it can be challenging but it's designed to be played with friends. There's tons of characters to unlock and lots of cool weapons and abilities. There's also seasonal events. I don't think I'm the target audience but I still have fun playing it occassionally.
the game is my towerdefence standard. the scifi stylre is good. the comic cutsenes are a bit cheap but get the job done. the towerbases and towers dropping in from space are awesome the shooting is a bit lackluster but its the towers that have do the bulk of the work anyway. running around upgrading or buffing towers where needed is fun and satisfying. every tower has 3 upgrade steps and then you can pump the damage up as much you want you make the maze yourself and you see the changes that brings to the enemy routes in real time. you earn more towers weapons and perks as you progress. create a build suited to your playstyle. when you complete the game you can use any perk or weapons from any character. you can play this game in multiplayer. each level has has some fun secrets or extra mines to find.

Lonely Mountains is an example of the simple formulas games can use that I will never grow tired of. Top of the mountain? Want to ski down? How about you push yourself with challenges? It doesn't need to be more complicated than that. Yet this sequel game exceeds in having a unique polygonal art style that makes tracks and shortcuts easily readable. A calming presence that invites you to just spend time. That never overstays its welcome. This game is sequel to a mountain bike riding processor (which is also loads of fun.) The single player of this entry is exactly what you would expect, with the added bonus of the snow on these mountains allowing you to see your paths that you have traversed when you undoubtedly crash. The added multiplayer is also novel, in that you potentially have more to explore on the mountains reaches, though there isn't much to it beyond a race to the bottom/scoring events. Still, it could be what you and some friends are looking for. It's not a long experience, but it has stuck with me even after I completed the treks down its beautiful slopes.
tl;dr: gameplay is fun, the story is interesting, the quests are well integrated into the world, it's all beautiful pixelart. there were 2-3 moments during the game where i was really stuck and had no idea what to do, but maybe that's just me. gameplay[9/10]: it has a really nice combat system which starts out simple and get's more complicated with more features like combos, elemental damage, special attacks (which you can choose in a skill tree). movement feels fluent and stable and there's a ton to explore. every nook and cranny usually holds something. especially in cities and towns. i did get stuck a few times with the story though. performance[10/10]: it runs on a toaster, i started playing on an i3 5th generation, no dedicated gpu and it ran perfectly graphics[10/10]: gorgeous pixelart, saves performance and is timeless while preserving every important detail. price[9/10] (on sale [10/10]: the price is fair, there is a demo on steam and in the browser on their website and it has a ton of playtime for just 20 bucks. though if you plan to get it on steam for full price i'd reccomend getting it on itch instead, since you'll get it drm free (download it and nobody can take it away from you) and you get a steam key anyway personal note: i love this game, even got it as theme for my bootloader (so i see it everytime my computer starts)
